Our aim is to advance the human rights of all
citizens with challenges. We provide technical assistance and
education to parents, as well as advocacy around specific situations
involving the Americans with Disabilities Act, special education
laws and regulations, and public benefits.
We offer workshops for parents, guardians, and professionals
covering a wide variety of topics, including Special Education
Overview, Advocating for Your Child, Transitioning from Early
Intervention, and Transitioning into Adulthood.
Advocates keep abreast of the ever-changing federal and state laws,
and work cooperatively with families and school systems to ensure
that a child’s needs are met.
