Transition Services for High School Students

Transition services assist students in their journey from high school to the world of work and adult life. The Northeast Arc Day Service Division has designed and implemented various individualized supports to meet the personal goals of students in both Work and Day Habilitation settings. These services are available to students between the ages of 17 and 22 years of age. The Northeast Arc will incorporate Individualized Education Plan goals into the services provided. Input for services is obtained from the student’s family, current educational support staff and most importantly, the student. Students benefit from these experiences as they continue their journey to adulthood, which may lead them to additional schooling, full or part-time work, a therapeutic life skills setting or a path that blends these opportunities.

Please contact Tim Brown at timbrown@ne-arc.org or Kathy Marques at kmarques@ne-arc.org for more information.
