Join us on Sunday June 6th, 2010 at 9:00 AM to celebrate the Northeast Arc’s 56th Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Come honor your neighbors, coworkers, and friends as they are honored for their contributions to the Northeast Arc and the community.

Northeast Arc Walk

Where can you find a fabulous family outing with great food, lively music, face painting, a moonbounce, spin art, ice cream, popcorn, clowns and fun for kids of all ages?   At the annual Northeast Arc Walk at Plains Park of course!  The Northeast Arc is teaming up once again with the Danvers Family Festival for the 14th annual Arc WALK and Family Celebration.  The Arc Walk will take place during Family Festival week on Sunday, June 27th and will begin and end at Plains Park, behind the Holten Richmond Middle School.  Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. and the walk kicks off at noon.  The Walk is @ 3 miles, and if that seems too daunting, there is a mini-walk at the park!   

We are seeking sponsors, walkers and team captains for this year’s Walk. Just give Becky a call: (978) 762-4878 x 2401, or email me at BLandry@ne-arc.org and I can register your team or confirm your sponsorship and help set up your First Giving web page. 

If you are interested in joining us for the Walk, please click here to download a Walk sponsor sheet!  All walkers who raise $50. receive a t-shirt, and walkers who raise $200. will receive a special prize!

You can also set up your own personal fundraising website by going to www.firstgiving.com/nearc.  If you are unable to join us, but want to help local families– that’s great too!  Remember — First Giving makes donating easy and secure! It is one of the most efficient ways to make a contribution to the Northeast Arc Walk.

Remember, when you finish the three mile Walk, there is fun, food, & activities waiting for you back at Plains Park!  Please consider joining us for a wonderful family day!

Spotlight is an innovative drama-based social pragmatics program for students ages 9-22 with social-emotional challenges including Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar Disorder, although no diagnosis is necessary to participate.  Our six-week summer camp will focus on building important developmental and social skills while including fun and engaging activities such as moviemaking, martial arts, theater games and swimming. www.spotlightprogram.com.
